1st August to 30th October 2010 our personalised small group luxury 4WD
tours enable you to walk among countless species of wildflowers.
This
tour is not only for the wildflower enthusiast but also for all nature
lovers. We will spend time to walk among countless species of
wildflower in the bushland. Enjoy discovering for yourself the
wonderful variety and changing habitat of the wildflowers and bushland
accompanied with your wildflower guide.
Travelling with a small
group in a Luxury 4WD vehicle with a maximum group of 6 people to get
the most out of your wildflower experience.
We visit the best floral displays north or south out of Perth depending on the seasonal changes of the Wildflowers.
This
Wildflower extravaganza tour experience includes fascinating
wildflowers and orchids, natural bushland, walk among a vast diversity
of wildflowers, see wildlife, birds, lizards and may be kangaroos
and Emus. Tour Price: $165.00 per person inclusive of morning tea and light lunch
Things to bring & wear: Sturdy
walking shoes, hat, Sun block lotion, bottle water, your cameras with
plenty of film and or memory space to record the floral spectacle. And please wear long legged pants for comfort walking in the bush.

Southern Overnight Wildflower Tour 2010 Day One
Pick up 7am
Perth, Stirling Range Visit Bushland and reserves in the Kojonup region for the
start of our wildflower extravaganza tour. Visit bushland in the
Cranbrook region that has endemic wildflowers and orchids
After
Lunch we will travel on to the Stirling Range National Park, which is a
geographical feature that is very scenic. There are more than 1500
species of Wildflowers in the Stirling Range National Park.
We
will be touring the East – West dirt road. We will spend time out of
the vehicle to walk among the wildflowers and the bush land. Viewing
spectacular varieties of flora endemic to the Stirling Ranges. You will
enjoy discovering for your self the wonderful variety and changing
habitat of the wildflowers and bushland and taking in the spectacle.

Our overnight stay at Stirling Range Retreat is chalet share accommodation.
Dinner is either a posh BBQ or casserole with nibbles and light desert

Day Two Stirling Range, Perth After breakfast join a local Orchid and Wildflower Tour. See
amazing varieties of orchids and endemic wildflowers in isolated places
with a local guide who is passionate about the region, habitat and of
course the flora. After Lunch we head back to perth with a stop for more amazing orchids.

Outback – Northern Wheatbelt Wildflower 2010

Day
Tour
18 - 20 August 2010 Discover an area where the entire
landscape bursts into a mass of colourful wildflowers every spring. We
will be tracking our way through outback and mid-west regions to view
stunning displays of regional wildflowers
Features of this tour
are the Wreath Lechenaultia (lechenaultia macrantha) popular
everlasting daisies with masses of colourful displays, as well as
orchids, hakea, banksias and much more.
We will be travelling
off the beated track to experience up close the natural habitat of the
native flora for you to take photos and to look around.
Day One Wednesday 18 August Depart Perth 7.00am
Heading into to northern wheat region and on to the fringes of the outback Our
first stop is morning tea among the wildflowers and onto New Norcia
Australia’s only monastic town, home to a community of Benedictine
Monks. You visit the Museum and Art Gallery, wonder around the town.
After
lunch at the New Norica Hotel We drive on to Wongan Hills which is know
for its rare and endangered flora and one of the largest woodland areas
in the northern wheatbealt region.
Our overnight stay is a
Dalwalinu Wheatland Motel where you are assured of a relaxing evening
and experience Western Australian Country Hospitality.
Day Two Thursday 19 August Today
we will be tracking toward the coast through the edge of the
outback / wheat belt region. Viewing first the wreath
lechenaultia and then the world famous colourful masses of everlasting
daisies. The areas of interest today are Wubin, Buntine Rock,
Perenjorie, Morawa, Coalseam Conservation Reserve.
Tonight we will be staying at Dongara close to the beach where you can relax and go for walks on the beach or walk trails.
Dinner at the Dongarra Hotel.
Day Three Friday 20 August This
morning we take a look around Dongara before heading south. The
Eneabba, Mt Lesueur area is regard as a major hot spot for flora in
Western Australia and we will be spending time in the region.
We head to the coastal town of Jurien for light lunch and start our trip back to Perth, arriving about 5pm

This is an exceptional tour
highlighting Western Australia’s two major hot spots for wildflowers
with the emphasis on diversity of unique species, spectacular southern
ocean coastal vistas and stunning landscapes.
Featuring Qualup
Bell, Royal Hakea, Banksia Rubens, weeping banksia, Weeping
Eucalyputus, scarlet banksia, a vast range of protoceaes and
spectacular southern coastal scenery, craggy mountains, isolation,
nature at its purist.
Day One York, Corrigin, Hyden, Wave Rock, Ravensthorpe, Hopetoun Our
first stop this morning is at York. York is Western Australia's first
in land rural town (1831). A charming rural town rich in
Victorian and Federation buildings. We will be stoping in the Corrigin
area o view wildflowers and then on to Hyden for lunch and to visit
Wave Rock. On to Ravensthorpe an exciting town of gold mining
history going back to the 1850’s. Today large nickel deposits are being
mined near by to give Ravensthorpe its on going historic mining focus.
We will view wildflowers in the region. Hopetoun our overnight stay
is on the southern coast and is the gate way to the Fitzgerald National
Park. This was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Bio Sphere in 1972 for
its bio diversity of flora. Overnight stay Hopetoun Motel MT. Light lunch. D.
Day Two Hopetoun, Fitzgerald National Park, Bremer Bay The
Fitzgerald National Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Bio
Sphere in 1972 for its extraordinary bio diversity of flora, fauna and
geology. Today we will spend time exploring the eastern side of
the Fitzgerald National Park visiting the coast and taking in the
beautiful surrounding vistas in the Park and making many stops for view
the wildflowers and orchids. We then travel to the west side of
the Fitzgerald National Park making frequent stops to view flowers and
to visit Point Ann to spot the Hump Back Whales showing off their new
born in the bay. Overnight stay Bremer Bay B.MT. PL. D.
Day Three Bremer Bay, Waychinicup National Park, Cheyene Beach, Albany, Stirling Range Today
we tour along the south coast strip to see differerent regional flora
traveling to Cheyne Beach and Waychinicup National Park with amazing
large rock formations. We will visit Albany for sight seeing and then
on to Stirling Range our overnight stay. Overnight stay Stirling Range Retreat Shared chalet accommodation B.MT. PL.D.
Day Four Stirling Range National Park, Perth After
breakfast join a local Orchid and Wildflower Tour. See amazing
varieties of orchids and endemic wildflowers in isolated places with a
local guide who is passionate about the region, habitat and of course
the flora. After the Wildflower Orchid tour, we travel on the east
west road through the Stirling Range National Park taking the
magnificent rugged beauty and then commence our trip back to Peth. We
will have you back in Perth 6pm B.PL.AT

Day Two
Stirling Range, Denmark After breakfast join a local Orchid and Wildflower Tour. See
amazing varieties of orchids and endemic wildflowers in isolated places
with a local guide who is passionate about the region, habitat and of
course the flora.This
afternoon we head south to Albany.
We will take a look around Albany and visit The Gap and Natural Bridge Travel to Denmark our overnight stay.
Our accommodation is Mount Lindesay View B&B which has panoramic
mountain and valley views from the wide verandahs of this colonial
Homestead, perched high on picturesque 5 acres - 2 kms from the heart
of Denmark.
Dinner
this evening is at the Denmark Hotel opposite the picturesque Denmark
River so you can relax and enjoy meal taking the view.
Day Three
Denmark, Perth
Today
we are heading north back to Perth but our tour is not complete
without a stop at Mount Barker to visit the Banksia Farm which has
stunning views of the Porongurup Ranges. The Banksia farm is owned by
Kevin and Kathy Collins who have make a hobby and passion in to
be highly regard experts on banksia. We view local orchids
and after Lunch we return to Perth
We will have you back in Perth by 5.30pm.
