Then travel a further on to Cape Leeuwin to see the convergence of the Indian Ocean and the Southern Ocean. dinner at Wino’s Day Two After breakfast tour to Pemberton an old timber town that now enjoys a new life style showing off its natural beauty of old growth Karri forests. Climb Gloucester Tree the highest fire lookout tree in the world. Visit Fine Woodcraft Gallery containing locally produced works. Continue south to Walpole touring through majestic tall Karri forests on our way. Walpole is surrounded by National Parks. We will have lunch at Walpole before touring to the remarkable Tingle Forest and visit the amazing Tree Top Walk and Valley of the Giants. The drive into the Tree Top Walk is spectacular. Karri and Red Tingle Trees loom out of the forest an indication of what is to come at the Tree Top Walk and the Ancient Empire. You must experience the Tree Top Walk. Stroll among the upper branches of giant Tingle and Karri Trees for a "birds eye view" of the southern forests. This is a fun and exhilarating thing to do. Nearby under the Tree Top Walk is a winding boardwalk that takes you through a grove of veteran Red Tingle trees called the Ancient Empire. You can even walk through the hollowed out butt of one tree. Travel on to spectacular William Bay and take a walk on the beach. Three Day Tour Day One From Perth join the freeway; quickly head north to commence our Geraldton Kalbarri Tour stopping for morning tea on the way to the Pinnacles. The Pinnacles are made up of thousands of limestone pillars in a yellow sand dessert resembling an ancient ruin. The sight is spectacular any time of the day, year round. We will be driving into the Pinnacle Desert so you are able to get out of the vehicle and walk among the Pinnacles to enjoy the true dimension of Nature at its most creative. We will follow the coast line on The Indian Ocean Road heading to Geraldton stopping at sea side town of Jurien for lunch. Geraldton is the regional hub of the
entire Mid West region, export iron ore, wheat and has a large Lobster
fishing industry. The city is situated
near beautiful coastline to the west and rolling hills and breakaway
ranges to the east. Geraldton is known for its white sandy beaches
and turquoise
waters. This magnificent memorial has become the country’s premier site for honouring the 645 Australian sailors who were lost without trace during a World War II battle in 1941. The beautifully designed memorial features a silver dome of 645 seagulls to represent the lost Sydney sailors. Take a look at St Francis Xavier Cathedral - Built in stages from 1914 to its opening in 1938, the Byzantine style architecture of this cathedral is one of Monsignor John Hawes' greatest masterpieces. Kalbarri is nestled at the Murchison River mouth and surrounded by stunning coastline, soaring river gorges and protected bays. Travel on to take a look at Hawks Head Lookout and Ross Graham Lookout. On this tour we will be travelling through isolated rural country seeing farmland, which has sheep, cattle and wheat crops. Living fossils, part of the earth’s evolutionary history. we further explored Shark Bay visit Shell Beach made up of millions of tiny shells and Eagle Bluff a scenic viewpoint to look over the coast. Visit Denham and then on to Monkey Mia our overnight stay. Day Three This morning up early for breakfast and then see the dolphins come in to be fed after which join a one hour long boat cruise to see the dolphins in their natural environment and other wonderful sea creatures of the Shark Bay area. Travel on to Kalbarri for our overnight stay. We will be travelling through isolated country where we will see kangaroos, emus, bushland, scrub, straight roads, road houses, road trains and very few vehicles on the isolated roads. The township lies at the mouth of the Gascoyne River and supports horticultural and fishing industries. At Carnarvon visit the famous One Mile Jetty and visit the OTC Dish which is no longer is use. The area offers a terrific panoramic view of the town and surrounding area. On to Coral Bay for our two night stay. To experience a magnificent pristine environment bring your swimming costumes to really feel and experience nature at close hand. Two night stay at Ningaloo Reef Resort Day Four Coral Bay is the gateway to the Ningaloo Reef a marine paradise which dazzling under water gardens of coral reef just metres from the pristine shores.
